Behold, I Make All Things New
In the quiet of midwinter, join us for a rousing celebration of composer and conductor René Clausen in a musical mosaic featuring his conducting as well as beloved works including All That Hath Life and Breath and Children of the Heavenly Father, along with movements from his unpublished Mass for Double Choir, alternatively mysterious and buoyant in its masterful arrangement. You’ll experience Black composer Adolphus Hailstork’s Crucifixion as it illuminates the silent suffering of Christ on the Cross. Shimmering music by Jean Berger, a radiant Magnificat by Latvian composer Ēriks Ešenvalds, and Elaine Hagenberg’s melodious Meditations of my Heart deliver a soaring program at First Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights.
Your safety is important to us! Masks are required to attend Magnum Chorum’s concert at First Lutheran Church including while on the premises before and after the concert.
